The PDSA is currently working on the following projects:
Spay Campaign
PDSA (SA) in conjunction with the Gauteng Department of Agriculture is currently running a SPAY campaign in the Gauteng area that will continue for the next three years. As our main concern is animal welfare we are offering a service to the underprivileged people of the Gauteng townships to have their animals sterilised to avoid unwanted litters of dogs and cats and for the improved health of the adult animals.
As we go from township to township we also visit all the schools in the community to educate the children on responsible companion animal care. The education programme includes nutrition, the need for sterilization, vaccinations and hygiene.
